RESIDENCY COORDINATOR position in Greensboro, NC

Our friends at Elsewhere Collaborative in Greensboro, NC are looking for a Residency Coordinator:

RESIDENCY COORDINATOR
Elsewhere Collaborative, a living museum, international residency program, and education research laboratory set within a three-story former thrift store in downtown Greensboro, is seeking a residency coordinator starting immediately. The Residency Coordinator will work with the Elsewhere team to lead Elsewhere's residency program, which brings 35-40 artists, makers, and thinkers each year to Greensboro to create site-specific works for the living museum and Greensboro community, and to advance Elsewhere's concept. The Coordinator will have the opportunity to collaborate with this international artist community in an experimental and responsive creative environment. The Coordinator will be an excellent host(ess), able to multi-task, work closely with artists and creators, facilitate collaborations, be comfortable with computer programs, and lead an experimental residency program in conjunction with a vision for a living, evolving, changing museum. The Residency Coordinator position offers room and board, with opportunities to participate in productions and national exhibitions as part of Elsewhere's creative team. BA required in Studio Art, Art History, or with experience in the arts, higher degree or equivalent experience encouraged. Position runs to November 15th, 2010 with opportunities for advancement.
