Pottery Class at Urban Enviromental Center

INTRODUCTION TO THE POTTER’S WHEEL

Fee: $60

Get introduced or revisit basic wheel throwing techniques.

This class will introduce clay preparation for throwing along with the necessary skills for centering. Forms covered will be cylinders, bowls and how to make a handle. This will be a great introduction for someone looking to get started in pottery making.

No previous experience is required. All are welcome.

Class will be held on the following Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.

Clay and glazes are not included in the fees for any of the classes. You may purchase clay if needed at the studio $12.00 for 25 lbs or $6.00 for 10 lbs.
