Fostering Diversity in Art Awareness

As a folk artist and educator, I see a great need to encourage awareness of diversity in art appreciation in the Wilmington Community. There is a perspective of art in the traditional context, i.e. the Brandywine painters. Most people tend to gravitate towards traditional art. However, there is a vast arry of art in our community that speak to life stories and issues, We need to educate art consumers to patronize the diversity in the art forms. -Eunice LaFate
