A note from the curator:
Videyo! is a curated show, by Your Last Neighbor, that showcases seven artists using the medium of video to draw, collage, and animate their ideas.
These artworks have been submitted with the understanding that they would be accompanying other happenings. In this sense, they are the main event as well as the background to the larger event.
Videyo! was previously shown in a DC restaurant along with bands and djs. This variety show provided various attendees with a number of entertainment options and related well to TV culture where layers of imagery and sound are simultaneously engulfed by the viewer.
We hope you enjoy the bombardment of audio visual saturation that will be provided via Videyo! Part Deux!
