DCCA Artist Residency Application Process Reopened!
The Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts is reopening the application process for the Art & Community Visual Arts Residency Program!
Letters of Intent should include a brief personal history of your involvement in the arts as well as your interest in partnering with the DCCA for the Art & Community Visual Arts Residency Program.

National Call for Artists
14th Annual No Dead Artists Juried Exhibition presented by ArtDaily.org and Jonathan Ferrara Gallery.
The No Dead Artists exhibition was founded in 1995 to give a voice to emerging artists. The exhibition's name is derived from the old adage that artists never achieve any success until they die. No Dead Artists turns that on its head and gives emerging artists their first break into the art world. In the 90's, the exhibition was open only to New Orleans artists and then it grew to include artists of Louisiana. Now in its 14th year, it is expanding to become a national juried exhibition open to artists from all fifty states.

CURATORIAL COORDINATOR
The Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts (DCCA), a non-collecting art museum located on Wilmington’s Riverfront, is seeking a twenty-five hour per week, part-time Curatorial Coordinator beginning on or about May 24. The Curatorial Coordinator assists the DCCA’s Curator with the development and implementation of the DCCA’s active program of changing exhibitions. The Coordinator is responsible for registarial duties that include preparing artist contracts, loan forms, condition reports, labels and checklists, maintaining department records, coordinating exhibition-related interpretive materials, and organizing the annual members’ juried exhibition and biannual MFA exhibition Calls for Entries. The Coordinator maintains the exhibition schedule and acts as the liaison between artists and the DCCA. The position requires a detail-oriented multi-tasker who is familiar with contemporary art and who works well in a team situation; good writing and computer skills are essential. RESIDENCY COORDINATOR
Elsewhere Collaborative, a living museum, international residency program, and education research laboratory set within a three-story former thrift store in downtown Greensboro, is seeking a residency coordinator starting immediately. The Residency Coordinator will work with the Elsewhere team to lead Elsewhere's residency program, which brings 35-40 artists, makers, and thinkers each year to Greensboro to create site-specific works for the living museum and Greensboro community, and to advance Elsewhere's concept. The Coordinator will have the opportunity to collaborate with this international artist community in an experimental and responsive creative environment. The Coordinator will be an excellent host(ess), able to multi-task, work closely with artists and creators, facilitate collaborations, be comfortable with computer programs, and lead an experimental residency program in conjunction with a vision for a living, evolving, changing museum. The Residency Coordinator position offers room and board, with opportunities to participate in productions and national exhibitions as part of Elsewhere's creative team. BA required in Studio Art, Art History, or with experience in the arts, higher degree or equivalent experience encouraged. Position runs to November 15th, 2010 with opportunities for advancement.
