LEARNING THE TRADE

NWAA Artist member Brad Turner's new show at the Red Mohawk Gallery
Event details: The opening will take place on Friday Nov. 6th, from 6PM - 9PM at the Red Mohawk Gallery in Wilmington. It will be a great time and as always there will be beverages to consume. There also will be a band. I will have plenty of shirt for those who missed out on the last run... I know many of you will be there in spirit and cannot make it out. Applications for Shipley Lofts can be downloaded by following this link: http://www.ingerman.com/pdf/rental_app.pdf
The Ingerman Group and the Shipley Village Community Development Organization will begin taking applications from artists immediately. The application will be a three-part process: the applicant must first qualify as a perspective renter, followed by an income and credit check, and lastly there will be a review of the applicant's artwork.

Art:21 screening at 312 N Market Street Thursday, October 15th from 6-9pm
At the October 15th closing reception for the exhibition Eclosion, New Wilmington Art Association is proud to present a screening of episodes 3 & 4 of Season 5 of art:21. This screening event is part of a national initiative titled Access '09 which aims to introduce the award winning PBS production, Art:21 Art in the Twenty-first century, to a larger audience.
